PP pipes and fittings are pipeline systems produced in accordance with GB/T18742 using random copolymer polypropylene as the main raw material. Polypropylene can be divided into three categories: PP-H (homopolymer polypropylene), PP-B (block copolymer polypropylene), and PP-R (ignoring copolymer polypropylene). PP-R has become the preferred material for producing polypropylene pipes for hot and cold water with a service life of 50 years due to its long-term resistance to hydrostatic pressure, long-term heat and oxygen aging, and superior processing and molding.
PPR pipe product characteristics:
1. Corrosion resistance and no scaling: PP-R pipes have good corrosion resistance, no scaling, no bacterial growth, and can eliminate the worries of pipeline scaling and blockage, as well as yellow spots and rust on washbasins and bathtubs.
2. Non toxic and hygienic performance: This product has undergone strict testing and fully meets the requirements of national drinking water standards. It can be used in drinking water and food industry pipeline systems.
3. High temperature resistance and good insulation performance: PP-R pipes have a softening temperature of 131.5 ℃ and can transport hot water with a temperature of up to 70 ℃ under the allowed long-term connection working pressure. This product also has good insulation function, with a thermal conductivity system that is about 1/200 of a metal pipe, reducing heat loss during the transportation of hot water.
4. Smooth inner wall and low water flow resistance: PP-R has a smooth inner wall, low water flow resistance, and high flow rate, which can increase the flow velocity by more than 30% compared to metal pipes with the same inner diameter.
5. High mechanical strength: PP-R pipes have good toughness, impact resistance, and high mechanical strength, especially suitable for use in low and high temperature environments.
6. Lightweight, easy to install, and reliable: PP-R pipes have a specific gravity of only 1/8 of metal pipes and are easy to handle. They are connected by hot melt, with fast speed and no leakage concerns.
